The Legend of Zelda: Weaponry and Items

Master Sword

The Master Sword stands as the most recognized symbol of all that is good and right in Hyrule. Only able to be wielded by the legendary Hero, the Sword was created in ages long past to repel the evil in the dark. Able to create bolts of power, slice through the thickest armor and ward off the most powerful evils, the Sword lies in wait until the need for its power comes forth. And when this need arises, it is assured that the Hero shall find the Sword and use its power to bring light back to the world.
